We are sorry to announce that the 2022 SouthEast Transition Institute (SETI) in Gainesville, Florida HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Unfortunately, Florida will be unable to host a SETI event in 2022.
The next SETI will be hosted by the Lousiana DeafBlind Project
for Children and Youth
and the Mississippi Hearing-Vision Project
sometime in 2023.

Meet our Keynote Speaker:
Cody Colchado

Cody Colchado, Jr. is a husband and a father, an athlete and a coach, a competitor and a champion.  He was born with hearing loss and lost his vision at age 17.  A member of the United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) and the Powerlifting Hall of Fame, Cody has numerous titles, 33 world championships, and numerous world records.  He became the first American to win the World’s Strongest Disabled Man in 2015.  Cody has earned a baccalaureate degree in Adapted Physical Education and a Master of Science in Kinesiology.  And as a parent of two children with disabling conditions, he has developed a broad perspective on the impacts of disability.  Cody Colchado brings authenticity and insight to presentations on overcoming challenges, taking risks, and achieving goals.
